For the Common Good

A Summer Jam Art Spot

Summer Jam West is much more than just a one day arts and music festival. We’re a year round “Tour de Force” art movement on the Hilltop. We call this movement, “For the Common Good”, believing that everyone, regardless of income or address, is entitled to beauty. With the Hilltop being an “art desert” in the city of Columbus, our commitment to the Hilltop community is to commission one major installation and two 8′ X 4′ art panels each year.  The 8′ X 4′ panels are placed on Hilltop, small businesses.  We select only local artists for our competitions.  We’re a maverick on the Hilltop. We want to make the Hilltop a better place to live and work, and we believe that having access to art can lead to a better life.

Click the photo of the “Art Spot” you’d like to see and we’ll give you in depth information about the artist, the process and the location.

Post a selfie with the installation and be sure to tag @summerjamwest and #HilltopArt.
