Each year Summer Jam West partners up with Hilltop local organizations that support our theme. This year our theme is “Peace Train”. We’re bringing in organizations that build community, support peace, diversity and acceptance.
El Sol is a local Spanish newspaper based on the Hilltop. (Check out their multilingual website!) We’ve hooked up with them in our efforts to reach out to the Latino community and bring us all together.
My project USA is a national initiative to protect and empower our youth and families. We strengthen abused, neglected and undeserved communities through social services and civic engagement. We are the largest Muslim Social Services Organization in Ohio.
LSS mission is to create a better world by serving people in need. LSS Food Pantries, a member of the LSS Network of Hope, has store-front pantries, mobile food pantries and produce distributions to help provide nutritious meals to hungry families.
1DivineLine2Health provides care to the sick who have no access to healthcare. They deliver healing to the broken mind, body, soul and spirit. They help victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, and injustice both locally and globally.
AACS improves the well-being and quality of life of Asian Americans and Asian immigrant families in Ohio by providing social services and empowering individuals through education, training and leadership.
Black Lotus Sanctuary is a non-profit, Hilltop organization that strives to bring you peace through yoga. Victoria Frye will be giving free yoga classes in Westgate Park during Summer Jam West. ~ Peace, yoga, music!
The Artmobile is the first and only mobile art studio in Columbus! We believe art is for everyone, no matter where you live. We provide a fun, creative, art experience and you provide the imagination! This year The Art Mobile will be managing the Children’s Art Zone.
Around here, bike repair is a cooperative effort rather than a way to make money. What we’re doing isn’t just about building bikes. It’s about building relationships. Shop space, stands, and tools are available free of cost and volunteer mechanics are on hand to share their knowledge and experience.
