Position Available: Executive Director
Summer Jam West is seeking an Executive Director to lead this existing, non-profit, community event and art installation board beginning September 1, 2020.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, self-managed, and is passionate about improving the Hilltop community through arts and culture. This is a volunteer position, therefore gratification comes from developing a festival and installing permanent, public art on the Hilltop.
In order to succeed in this position you must be energetic, relationship driven, organized, and committed. One must be able to dedicate the time necessary to complete the tasks associated with such a position.
Previous experience with event administration is preferable but not necessary. The ideal applicant should be energetic, passionate about improving the Hilltop and relationship driven.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Cultivate monetary sponsorships and donations from community businesses and organizations.
2. Coordinate monthly leadership meetings.
3. Coordinate promotional events within the community.
4. Work collaboratively with other leaders in the community to gain strong support for the event.
